Chinese Journal of Dermatology (CJD) is sponsored by the Chinese Medical Association, edited and published monthly in Chinese by the Institute of Dermatology, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. It is a peer reviewed medical journal for doctors, medical researchers, educators, and health workers in dermatology and venereology. The journal reports the advances and progress in current dermatovenereological sciences and technology.
About the journal
CJD was established in October 1953. It is now indexed by Biological Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts, CAB Abstracts, Tropical Diseases Bulletin, Abstracts on Hygiene and Communicable Diseases, Western Pacific Region Index Medicus, Review of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, International Bibliographic Information on Dietary Supplements (IBIDS), CNKI, Wanfang Data, CSCD, etc. The impact factor of the journal was 0.639 in 2017, ranking the first among all dermatological journals (not including venereological journals) in China. The journal is available both in print and online.
Scope of the journal
CJD introduces and demonstrates significant progress and latest findings in scientific research and clinic practice in both China and overseas in order to enhance academic exchange and cooperation. It is aimed at a wide domestic and international readership among clinic, teaching and researching professionals in dermatology, venereology and other related fields. The contents involve epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of dermatoses and sexually transmitted diseases, and topics include genetics, carcinogenesis, microbiology, immunology, molecular biology, histopathology, pharmacology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, physical therapy, surgery, and so on. Original research articles, review articles, guidelines and consensus, editorials, case reports, letters are standard features. Commentaries and perspectives are regularly invited. Academic arguments are welcome at all time.
